Last few days I've been watching the first few season of this show again.
Haven't seen most of it since it aired. When it started I was 16 and a lot
of it paralelled my life at the time... sex on the couch with a girlfriend
at the time - also a big fan. Of me I mean

Does anybody else wonder how much the show affected them? That is, how much
of the quirkiness of the show was emulated or adapted into your life? I
realise now that a lot of my quirky witty oneliners were probably stolen
from the show and or expanded upon

So now there's no show like it. And I don't really know anybody who really
enjoys it as much as I did. Too bad that. I'll watch it again sometime. I
guess seasons 1 to 4 really were the best, my interest wained at 5. It was
the only show I watched

I just watched it for the first time all the way through and I gotta say
I am a fanatic. It's not really a great show, but there is something
about it that I just connect with I guess. I love it!!

Yes, you are dead-set right Sam. There was a really good quality to the
show that they captured but lost in the later seasons. I don't really
understand why though

So did you only get to watch it now? I would really love the experience of
being able to watch the show for the first time. I guess I should wait a
couple of years and then watch it all again from start to finish.

I think that woul be awesome to do.

By then Katie Holmes would be pregnant, fat and ugly with four kids at the
child-care centre. I'm not sure how much that would detract from the show.
I guess the fact that James van der beek was having a homosexual affair with
one of the other actors put another spin on the his character that can't get
it up with his girlfriend

I guess it all comes down to the fact that association shouldn't affect your
perception of things too much. When things happen in your life you can't
blame other people. I guess that's like the writing and direction of the
show. Sometimes it's in context - other times they are simply recycling old
concepts.

This could be the reason why they had to ditch the show. When you are in
the midst of things you can't see the horizon for all the chicken-shit that
obscures your vision. Sometimes it affects your cognitive function. Other
times it affects your sexual functions. Sometimes it affects all seven
senses
