Question about Season 4 and High School
(too old to reply)

Just watching the new DVD set of Season 4 for a DVD review. I'm pretty
sure Jen told someone this season that she came to live on Capeside at
the beginning of her Sophomore year.

I don't recall the first season very clearly, but weren't Joey and
Dawson Freshmen during the first season? Did Jen get held back a year at
some point, or is this all just a giant fudge by the writers so they can
all graduate together?

Thanks.

First season was a half-season, so both seasons 1 and 2 were sophomore
year.

I know that this question is a bit old and you probably do not need the
answer anymore, but just incase you do:
At the start of the first season, Joey, Dawson, and Pacey go over to
greet Jen and they as her if she will be going to school there. Jen says
"yep, 10th grade" as do the others.

The writers and producers decided to keep them as sophomores for another
season instead of moving them up another grade. I thought you were a HUGE
fan? Wouldn't a HUGE fan know this?
